Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana Launched in Koraput; Smartphones Distributed to Anganwadi Workers

Koraput, June 13: In a significant step towards strengthening food security and empowering frontline workers, the Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana was inaugurated today in Odisha. As part of the state-wide initiative, a programme was organised at the Auditorium of Shaheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital, Koraput.The event was held in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department, who highlighted the State Government’s commitment to ensuring welfare benefits reach every household efficiently.On this occasion, the Department of Women and Child Development distributed smartphones to Anganwadi Workers to enhance digital service delivery, improve monitoring, and strengthen the implementation of welfare schemes at the grassroots level.The initiative reflects the Government’s focus on inclusive development, technological empowerment, and citizen-centric governance under the vision of taking development to every corner of Odisha.
