ORUPA Handicrafts & Trade Fair 2026 Concludes Successfully at Sunabeda
Sunabeda, May 31: The ORUPA All India Handicrafts Exhibition and Trade Fair – 2026 concluded successfully at Sunabeda after being extended till May 31 due to overwhelming public response and participation.The fair, which commenced on May 14, showcased a wide range of handicrafts, handloom products, food stalls, and cultural programs. Various competitions including Dance, Music, Drawing, Speech, Fancy Dress, Model Ramp Walk, Traditional Pitha Making, Group Dance, and Hulhuli competitions were organized for school students, college students, and women.More than 200 participants took part in the competitions held during the fair. Winners were awarded prizes, while consolation prizes were sponsored by Shri Bijay Kumar Dalei.The closing ceremony was attended by Tehsildar Shri Bharat Mallick and Shri Prasant Kumar Kar as chief guests. Renowned singer Arun Kumar served as the main anchor for the cultural programs, which attracted large crowds throughout the event.Speaking on the occasion, ORUPA CEO Shri Ashoka Kumar Sahu expressed gratitude to all participants, artisans, visitors, sponsors, and local authorities for their support in making the event a grand success.
