Young YouTuber Drowns in Duduma Waterfall Tragedy
Koraput: What was meant to be an adventurous video shoot turned into a heartbreaking tragedy at the Duduma waterfall in Koraput district on Friday.A 27-year-old YouTuber, Sagar Tudu of Berhampur, lost his life after being swept away by the powerful currents of the waterfall. Sagar, accompanied by his friend Abhijit Behera from Cuttack, had gone to capture breathtaking visuals of the falls with the help of a drone for his YouTube channel.Eyewitness accounts suggest that Sagar was posing on a rock while Abhijit filmed him. In a split second, he slipped on the wet, mossy surface and tumbled into the swirling waters.Tragically, at that very moment, water from the Machkund Dam was released, causing the waterfall to swell with sudden force. The strong gush carried him away before any help could reach.Rescue operations have been launched, but till reports last came in, his body had not been traced.The incident has sparked grief among fellow content creators and raised concerns over safety measures for tourists and adventurers visiting natural spots like Duduma.
