A vibrant glimpse of Uttar Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage was on full display at the Prince Institute of Innovative Technology (PIIT), Knowledge Park-3, as the institute celebrated Janotsav on the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Foundation Day.The PIIT auditorium came alive with the rhythm of tabla, the soulful notes of the shehnai, and colorful folk dance performances. An exhibition featuring folk paintings, student-made posters, and rangoli welcomed visitors at the entrance. Students dressed in traditional attire added to the festive atmosphere, reflecting pride and enthusiasm for their state.

The program was organized under the chairmanship of PIIT Chairman and noted educationist Professor (Dr.) Bharat Singh. The chief guest was Professor B.S. Rajput, former Vice-Chancellor of Kumaon Garhwal University. BJP Delhi leader Anand Sahu attended as guest of honor, while senior journalist and National President of the Social Welfare Federation of India, Dr. Jitendra Bachchan, was present as the special guest.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati.Addressing the gathering, Dr. Bharat Singh highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s significant contribution to India’s cultural and historical legacy. He said the collective efforts of people dedicated to the state’s development have transformed Uttar Pradesh into a model of progress.

He added that PIIT’s teachers and institutions are actively contributing to this journey by strengthening education and youth skill development.Chief guest Professor B.S. Rajput praised the leadership and policies of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, stating that the development initiatives of the state government are reaching every section of society.

He noted that Uttar Pradesh today reflects a blend of cultural diversity and visible development across its districts.Senior journalist Dr. Jitendra Bachchan, while extending greetings on the 76th Foundation Day of the state, described Uttar Pradesh as a land of creativity, culture, values, and valor. He said that with its rich heritage, the state is scripting a new development story across all 75 districts, with every citizen playing a role in India’s social, cultural, and economic progress.

The cultural program, based on the theme “Developed India – Developed Uttar Pradesh,” featured performances by Lakshmi Priya of PIIT, Air Gurukul, and a team led by Aradhana Ma’am,

Head of The Mulogic Foundation, Indirapuram. Students showcased posters and rangoli highlighting progress in polytechnic education, youth skills, religious and mythological art, and the vision of a self-reliant India.A special presentation by Mithilesh Singh and Jagesh Singh on women’s empowerment, innovation, and the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram received wide appreciation from the audience.
