Security tightened at Lucknow airport ahead of January 26th

Visiting passes and entry tickets suspended until January 30th Passengers will have to undergo strict security checks

Lucknow:(Sandeep Srivastava )Security at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow has been further tightened in view of Republic Day, and this heightened security will remain in effect until January 30th. In view of Republic Day on January 26th, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security have further tightened security arrangements at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. Entry tickets and visitor passes have been suspended at Lucknow Airport from January 20th, and this suspension will remain in effect until January 30th. During this period, passengers will have to arrive at the airport well in advance of their flight as the strict security measures may lead to extra time being required for security checks.

Vehicles coming from the elevated road connecting Kanpur Road and Shaheed Path will be checked by the police, and the flyover connected to Terminal-3 of the airport will be under strict surveillance by the CISF.
