Furniture Confiscated from Koraput Collector’s Office Over Arrears
Koraput:(Chandan Prasad)Furniture was confiscated from the Koraput Collector’s office following a court-issued warrant of attachment. Lawyers and process servers executed the court order at the office of the Collector and the Rural Development Executive Engineer.The confiscated furniture relates to arrears dating back to 2011. According to the court, property can be seized if the dues are not paid, prompting the confiscation action after a long-standing arrears bill remained unsettled.
