Raipur: India defeated New Zealand by 7 wickets in the second T20I at Raipur to take a 2–0 lead in the five-match series. Chasing 209, India reached the target in just 15.2 overs.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav remained unbeaten on 82, while Ishan Kishan played a brilliant knock of 76. Earlier, New Zealand scored 208 for 6, with Mitchell Santner unbeaten on 47.

The third T20I will be played next as New Zealand look to bounce back.
