Security Guards at HAL Koraput Division Allege Wage Discrepancies and Tender Irregularities

Koraput, Odisha – February 1, 2025Security guards employed by M/s Sainik Intelligence & Security Private Limited at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Koraput Division have alleged discrepancies in their wages and irregularities in the security tender process.According to sources, the security guards have been receiving meager wages despite the parent company, HAL, paying higher wages as per the skilled workers’ tariff to the contractor.

The guards have also alleged that the contractor has divided the work among multiple teams without valid reasons, intentionally reducing their wages. Furthermore, they claim that the contractor has secretly appointed individuals without advertisement or transparent recruitment processes, taking bribes from those who joined through the back door.

The security guards have approached Hon’ble MP Mrs. Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka, seeking her intervention to address these issues and ensure that they receive their rightful revised skilled wages.The matter has sparked concerns about labor rights and transparency in government contracting. Authorities have been urged to investigate the allegations and take necessary action.
