Union Cabinet Approves Opening of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jeypore, Odisha.
koraput:In a significant development, the Union Cabinet has given its nod to the opening of a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) in Jeypore, Koraput district, Odisha. This move is part of a larger initiative to establish new KVs in 85 towns across India, including seven towns in Odisha.The new KV in Jeypore is slated to begin operations from the academic session 2025-26, offering high-quality education to the children of Jeypore. The Union Cabinet has allocated a whopping Rs. 5872.08 crore for the establishment of these 85 new KV.
This development is a welcome boost to the education sector in Odisha, particularly in the Koraput district. The opening of the new KV in Jeypore is expected to provide opportunities for students to access quality education, paving the way for a brighter future.
