Gupteswar Temple, located about 55 km from Jeypore in Koraput district, Odisha, is a cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva .The temple attracts over 200,000 devotees from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh during Shivaratri, a major Hindu festival. Devotees believe that worshiping Lord Gupteshwar can cure incurable diseases.As part of the review, the Collector likely assessed the temple’s infrastructure, security arrangements, and facilities for devotees to ensure a smooth and safe experience during the festival.
