Semiliguda, Koraput District, Odisha -(Report chandan Prasad ) January 13, 2025 The residents of Semiliguda in Koraput district of Odisha came together to celebrate the festive occasion of Makar Sankranti, also known as Pongal in some parts of the country, with great enthusiasm and fervor.The celebrations began with traditional rituals and prayers, followed by the exchange of greetings and sweets among friends and family. The locals also participated in traditional games and activities, such as kite-flying and bonfires, marking the beginning of the harvest season.
