Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has resigned

🇧🇩 Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has resigned and is believed to have left the country after a month of violent protests.Hasina held the position for over 20 years across two terms (1996-2001 and 2009-2024). Her resignation came on the day protesters breached the grounds of her residence.Protests demanding the end of the civil service quota system began in July. Over 280 people have died in clashes since.
